Location
The holiday site is by the upper edge of the fishing village of ▶ Aghia Galini on a rather steep slope.
This allows unique views of the village, the port, the Messara Bay (until Matala on the opposite coast), and the Libyan Sea.
A side lane runs straight down to the beach which is 350 meters away.

The village center is a 100 meters walk away.
There are several supermarkets (one of them with an international range of products), bank machines, car rentals, barbers and hairdressers, baker's and butcher's stores, a fish store, a pharmacy, a medical center, jewel stores and other shops.
In addition, there are many restaurants and tavernas, the most of them by the port (300 meters).

During the tourims season, boats go the the palm beach of Preveli several times per day, which for sure is the most comfortable way of approaching this dream beach.

The suburban busses' terminus is 200 meters away.
Iraklion airport is 89 kms away, ▶ Hania airport 118 kms.
With respect to the country roads' winding character, transfer times from and to the airports must not be underestimated.
